starter not turning over engine
Hey to all my hurricane lovign friends..having been here for a while, just proving how reliable these machines are..but problem has struck,my starter wont turn over the engine, after installing a new starter the problem was not solved, battery is nearly new, recieving charge, starter clutch has been checked and not slipping, could the damper be slipping??
everything else seems in tact..help needed ASAP as my bike is in pieces at the mechanic shop.
Thanks to all..
Cheers,
Craig.

type damper into the search on the main Hurricane board and you will find quite a few threads on this issue ..
good luck and om sure a few more of the guys will chime in soon ...

Sweet Craig no probs .. but STU and a few of the guys did a bloody great job on that HowTo from Stu ...
I have actually not done mine as yet...
BTW - You definitely do not have to pull the engine out or split it apart...
Enough beer a few patients and tiny fingers will help I hear .... lol
