I'm looking to rewind mine. Ive got a short somewhere (haven't pulled it out yet.) This will be my first time trying this but I've got quite a bit of electronics knowledge and lots of time to kill. I just wont know what I'm working with until I disassemble it. I'll try to remember to take pictures religiously and then do a write up if all goes well.

There was another CBR1000F forum thread with details on installation, which was kinda tricky getting the stem reseated.
