Perhaps it might be worth talking to Rick's motorsport.
They state they rebuild the 1987 CB1000F stator.........
1987 Honda Street Bike CBR1000F HurricaneStreet Bike Rebuilt OEM Style Honda Stator Aftermarket Parts
Good luck.

FYI. BikeBandit still seems to have a CBR1000F stator cover.

Partzilla (where I got mine 6 mo ago) is now out of stock.

Did you get new Bearings too? This site says;
https://www.regulatorrectifier.com/c...ebuild-service
"likely has to renew his bearing(s), mostly the stator goes defect because of a warn bearing(s) from the axis were the stator is attached to."
I have a 1994 CBR1000F which I bought new in 1996. Now my dealer tells me my stator is bad and the part is unavailable; so new my choice is to have mine rebuilt ($400+to/from shipping). They won't install a Ricks brand stator, as they say they always fail within a few months. Part# 31130-MS2-611 (Stator – No longer available from Honda)
