Yeah TimBuc , I had cleaned the sprocket off so I could take a picture of the sprocket rather than all the gunk that was covering it .

The whole area was covered in **** , didn't look as though it had been touched in a long time .

After getting it back together I cleaned up and lubed the whole chain , with chain lube , not WD40 .

Just waiting for the missus to go out so I can take a look at the rear wheel , see how the alignment is , I'll probably have a go at the string method , as I don't have anything else long enough .
