Smile I'M back for another autumn-winter

Hello all

been riding this sumemr a lot, had a lot of fun, did 15000kms+ and I didn't use ny bike to go to work!

The bike as been running like a charm aging gracefully and it is still sharp can ask for more, too bad Honda didn,t continue the bloodline of the 1000f and blackbird, of course you now have the vrf1200 which has some lines reminescent of the 1000f.

Tires: Changed the avons for the Bridgestones bt-21( 2 counpounds) , great tires but not as quick or stable as avons, but they are holding quitfine and they don't wear that fast, i guess it has to do with your riding style as well.

Exchange motoeycles with friens during my rides to try them..

ZX9-R 2001: very powerful and fast bike but not as soft in its reaction as the 1000f.

Katana 750, very soft motorcyle and lots of vibration ( olow torque, but when you are used to the 1000f, but great sport tourer as well).

Sprint 1050: I would call this bike the modern spirit of the 1000f , same felling, same reaction softness, motor has wicked sound and the roadholding is about the same.

Sv650: a lteele wicked bike in the twisties but i am to old for the sitting position lol.

Also got myself a new jacket:

Thanks for the thread on leather caring1

also but new buble for the front;

and finally found the right side spacer on ebay!

Looking Forward to read you guys! you are a great bynch and incredidble job on the Cr1000f section!

Nice to hear from you, dragon!

That's cool that you got to try some different bikes and get an idea of what you like/what they are. I've only ridden the ZX9R from that list, but my other buddy has an SV650 that I'd like to try. The 9R is a quick bike and handles really well. It was fun. I'd like to ride it again (more than like 5 miles..lol)

Anyway, good to see ya around, and that's a hell of a cool new jacket you got there!

Good to see you back Dragon , 15,000K's is some going , you musta had some fun trips

Glad to hear the bike is going well , she must have a nice full belly after munching all those miles

Smart jacket , always nice to get new gear , I'm addicted to buying sets of leathers , got 3 but I've nearly bought so many more! Had to stop or the missus would kill me , there's only so many leathers you can hide in the cupboard

Don't mind if it's en Francais

Do you ride through winter or do you have to stop riding before then ?
