Default Bad Idle

I have the 1991 cbr 1000f. I rode the bike and the motor ran fine. Two weeks later I started it. With full choke the motor will run, but the motor will not reach full rpms (around 4,000 with choke) when it has warmed up. When I turn the choke off, the motor dies within seconds. I coaxed it onto the road, and with choke off, I ran it wide open throttle and it runs just as strong and fine as usual. Is this a carb problem? Should I take the carb off and clean it?

Sounds like a carb problem to me , but I'm no expert!

Luckily for you there are a few experts on this forum

They'll let you know what to do

Maybe run some carb cleaner through it....like seafoam in a tank.
Sounds like a pilot may be a little dirty or something.
