Of course, that actually makes so much sense.

Clearly, if you rode around everywhere in first gear, the engine would eventually over heat and die. So the gear shift seal is an integral part of keeping the engine at its' correct operating temperature.

Note to self : if a rear wheel bearing fails and the bike can't be moved, look firstly in the instrument group diagrams.

Why does my speedo always read 0?

See, it is really all quite logical if you just take the time to think about it.
