Default Having trouble finding shift shaft seal?????

Have spent way too much time looking and re-looking, hoping to find the seal that seals the gear shift shaft.
What parts group fiche is it in? Shift drum, nope, trans group, nope again.
Need to replace asap.
Thanks for your support.

I'm getting a nervous feeling about this one as it appears here - not seeing a bearing
seal - which suggests to me item 2 is a one piece deal with bearing seal and all

Tell ya who may know for sure is Henry M - he's had his apart down to the last nut !
PM him

Sorry Sprock, but I think you're looking at the wrong shafts. The seal in question should be amongst this lot. But it isn't here either.

I'm guessing that they only come as part of a complete replacement motorcycle.

We've got a leaky crankcase oil seal on the front of the Subaru engine.
As the mechanic said "$5 seal, $500 of labor to take the thing apart and replace it, you're probably better off just buying a $200 water blaster and washing your driveway every six months"

Ah you were right there Kiwi ! doooh I was looking at the counter not the shifter one

edit

upon further digging and cross referencing other models since most shifter rods appear to
be similar - I came up with this part number 91203-ka4-771

it's kind of a hit and miss one this - but for two bucks - I'd get it and try it out

this was the search - second hit down ! RC 51

Sugest you just flick the seal out with a small screwdriver ,clean it up and check if it has any numbers on it like 16-22-8 indicating that it is 16mm ID 22mm OD and 8mm Wide .these are probably not the sizes just an example. Check the OD with a vernier, the same with the shaft diameter and the width (depth) go to your local bearing outlet SKF or whoever sells bearings in your area and they will be able to supply a replacement.
I got seals for the shift shafts on TK's and my CBR's and also my VMax like this rather than trying to source genuine parts, they are a standard size seal not anything exotic, that was the preserve of the 60's & 70's British bikes when bearing manufacturers would come up with special bearings with inch ID metric OD and either extra wide or narrow widths so you had to buy genuine .This is not generally the case with the likes of our beloved CBR's as the Japanese manufacturers seem to accept that the use of standard size components like bearings and seals keeps production costs to a minimum.
Just my 2c worth.

Shift shaft seal, in the water pump group, of course, lol. Called the dealer and have to order, but less than $3, so have it on the way.
Thank for all your help in trying to find it.
