Brake Light Issue
I discovered that my brake lights do not work using the front brake lever however they do work if I use the rear brake pedal. I noticed a little bit of corrosion around the switch so I replaced the switch thinking it was likely bad. Unfortunately, that did not solve the issue. I just quickly checked the wires and I do get 12v on one of the wires so I know that one is not broken. Are there any common areas to look at for where the other wire might have a break? All other electricals are working fine.
Try connecting the two wires that run into the front brake switch and turn on the ignition. If your brake light shines, then it's all in the switch or the way the two wires connect with the switch.
Sometimes the two connectors that attach to the prongs on the switch become loose and/or corroded. If you can get the brake light to work as above, it's just a matter of fiddling around to find a solid electrical connection.
If you can't get the brake light to work as above, you have a downstream wiring issue.
Good luck.

If connecting two wires at brake-light switch doesn't turn on brake-light, there may be some wiring problems.
Measure resistance between chassis-ground and non-power wire of brake-light switch at lever, ohms = ???
Other possibility is switch isn't positioned where it gets pushed by lever.
