Buy an aftermarket RR. It fixes the Honda "overcharge problem" and performs 15% better at low RPM's. This is what I bought and its been running great!

There is one on Ebay, maybe Someone (hey Shadow) could verify the connector. It does list a 1000f.....

Check wiring from the stator for continuity
Check voltmeter is set correctly and battery in v/meter isn't flat
Check 3 yellow field coil wires from stator for current - should each be over 30V at 3000 revs
If not, stator/wiring is fried. Try this
