I have a 97 900rr it had the same problem it was the rectifier/regulator haven't had any problems charging or with the battery senci I replaced it

I would agree! I purchased a new rectifier and the problem seems to be solved! Left the bike with the keys in it (in the off position) for 4 nights while riding it twice, and the battery remained fully charged! Before it would have been half to dead at that point!

Problem solved! Thank you for the help guys

Well, I got about 300 miles into the new rectifier/ regulator from amazon and it melted...

I dont recomend the : Caltric Regulator Rectifier for Honda Cbr1000F Cb-R1000F Hurricane 1000F 1990 1991 1993-1996

Anyone have any suggestions on where to go for a quality rectifier?
and yes, I'm going to check my alternator for over charging first thing.
