battery problems
i have a 93 cbr 600 f2 that i recently bought with only 4000 miles on it. it hasn't been running for about 2-3 years. i just got a new battery for it, followed the directions on pouring the acid in step by step, and trickle charged it over night. when i tried to start the bike, the battery only cranked for about 10 seconds. i repeated the charging process for 4 night and it still only cranks for 10 seconds and dies. I then ran tests on the battery, which all said that it was in good working cond. what could be the problem with the bike that is causing this to happen? i am new with bike so i diagram would be helpful if possible. thanks a lot.
1.When the battery, starter, etc., turn the engine over are you getting anything?
2. I would get a new battery as it should have came charged if you got it from a dealer.
Actually adding the acid charges the battery about 80%.
3. If the battery is not the problem, look into your regulator/rectifier.

Get a DVOM and check the voltage at the battery. See how many volts like 12.4 would be acceptable. With this if you can get it to crank over and turn on see what the out put is from the alt like 14's would be nice.
