1995 battery draining while bike sits off

Anyone else have thier batteries drain while the bike sits with no key in it?

I purchased a new rectifier and will install it, but what else should I check??

If you have a multimeter you can test for a parasitic draw. It’s very simple to do and there’s loads of examples of how to’s on you tube.
What symptoms did you have to think your r/r needed replacing ?

Just the battery drain. I'm honestly not seeing any parasitic draw. Maybe .001, but I'm at a loss. (Tried 2 new batteries) next I'm checking the alternator to see if its charging. Unfortunately I broke the original one, so I'm waiting for the mew o ring to finish installing my replacement.

Had a similar mystery battery drain/not charging issue on a 95 I had. Couldn’t figure it out so after few trips to the mechanic and changing reg/rec, alternator and battery the issue turned out to be the stator according to mechanic. Apparently not an easy job but might help the diagnosis.

Thats interesting, I thought since there was an alternator, there would be no stator. Maybe im confused as to what a stator is?
where it's that located?

Stator is behind left hand side Lower casing.
Best of luck mate.

Stator is in the bit that broke= stator= stationary winding of wire.

Do you by any chance have a phone charger cord installed on your bike? Those often drain a small amount...even those without LED lights in them.
