What type of Heat Sheild do you use with China Fairings?
#1

Hey, for anyone who bought aftermarket china fairings, what kind of heat shielding did you buy for them?
Everyone recommends DEI, but they have like 3 or 4 different kinds of heat tape and heat cloth.
Would the really thin tape stuff work or should I get the thicker cloth-like stuff? The tape protects anywhere from 450 to 800 degrees, the thicker stuff protects up to 1800 degrees. I'd go with that, but it's really expensive for a 2 foot by 2 foot sheet, so I'd rather not unless it's highly recommended.
I also plan on wrapping my headers too.
So...what did you go with?

I have just used the stuff that comes with the fairings and it holds up fine.
The silver lining also acts like a reflector for my LED's which makes them much brighter inside the fairings
