Due to the enormous complexity of aftermarket upgrades, ALL exhaust manufacturers design their equipment to work perfectly fine on STOCK bikes.

Furthermore, you will never, ever, EVER, *NEED* a power commander, and *NO* aftermarket part you add on will make your bike "run like ****" without it.

HOWEVER, adding a power commander *WITH A CUSTOM MAP* will increase the performance of ANY FI bike configuration, EVEN A STOCK ONE. Adversely, adding a power commander and using a "stock" map does run the risk of making your particular configuration run like ****. Addind apower commander means taking your bike to a dyno that is run by someone who knows what they are doing, and paying them to engineer a custom map for your specific bike. Even if you have the same components as another person's bike, engineering flaws and the inherent error % in dynos imply that your bikes will vary slightly still, and the other person's map may not net you the best performance gain.

Can we please make this a sticky? It comes up like once a week, and we know how people think the search button will give them leprosy.

good to know i just ordered the Yoshimura TRS Titanium slip on for my 03 F4i.
i have a scorpion titanium flame pipe on it now but that's what came on the bike
and i don't like the blue/purple on it since my bike is red/silver.
