I got tired of my ugly stock turn signals. Replaced them today.

A little pain in the *** to mount, had to jerry rig a bracket to close the gap between the fairing and the inside mount for the old light...but overall happy with results

I was suffering from peer pressure too, my buddy has a nice 1000rr and he's always telling me small mods to do to mine, I gave in this time. This is an old pic of his:

I dont know how it 'typically' is - but the biggest thing I didn't see coming was how to mount it. The stock stalk goes through the hole in the fender and a few inches in and mounts behind the fender. When I put the flush mounts, the screws only go about a half an inch and are hanging in the air. I had to cross the space between the old mounting areas behind the fender, and where the new bolts are. I had to fab a bracket.

They are bright enough to be seen from the side - but one thing I never thought about was oncoming cars -- no way to see them. A pain in some situations.
