Default Whats the best frame sliders

I have a 2006 cbr600rr red/black and need some framesliders. What brand is the best to buy and the cheapest place to buy and should I buy chrome as I will put chrome wheels on my bike this summer or should I just go with black. Also where is a good place to buy some chrome wheels at a good price or is ebay my best place to check.

Default RE: Whats the best frame sliders

putting metal frame sliders on a bike completely defeats the purpose of frame sliders. anything you get SHOULD be made of Delrin and 100% replaceable. with that said, i like the Vortex sliders. there are many others like them and they very well could be better, but honestly, how could they be much different than the others made of delrin?

make no mistake, frame slides save the frame, not the fairings.

I "tested" more than a few different kinds..... My favorites are the EruoRacing frame sliders, sold thru Yoyodyne. They have a screw-on replaceable delrin head (that's aviable in a few different colors) and a good solid aluminum base. My second choice would be the Woodcraft sliders, agian replaceable delrin head and a good solid aluminum base.
In my past expericence these are by far the best sliders out there.
