Default Frame sliders .

just bought a set of frame sliders (cut type) have new fairings oredered just want to know if theres any trick to marking the holes to make the cut, the whole deal is a little off putting.

There are a bunch of different ways, Laser pointer seems the easiest in my mind.
Search and you will find.

Put the bolt in to where it sticks out a bit, slap some putty on the back side of your fairing around the spot where it should be, put on fairing, remove fairing and Viola. There's your center point.

The method HIGHOCTANE mentioned is the most popular.

As recommended, there are some good how-to's & threads here on installing sliders.

You want a 1-3/4" hole saw bit to get that perfect hole. Tape over outside fairing area to get a clean exit hole.
