1/4 or 1/8th mile? Change your sprockets, start with -2 front and I'f your still not getting to 6th gear start adding teeth on the back, apart from that if you really want more hp a power commander and custom
Tune will get a couple more,
Unfortunately you'll never hang with a 1000, nobody likes hearing it but I'f your keen to be up there with them, then take a gun to a gun fight

Make sure your suspension is set up properly for the strip - you'd be surprised how much of a difference it can make.

Be prepared to have a couple spare clutches on hand for when you fry yours.

Power commander and dyno tune, upgraded internals, air shifter, front suspension straps, nitrous - there's tons you can do.

Experience will shave the most time off your pass.
Just keep practicing your take-offs as that will shave off more time then adding full exhausts and PC's.

The best replacement for displacement is skill.

unless the two bros is a full exhaust, he's not getting much out of it even if he gets a pc and a custom map. Slipons add noise. Full exhausts add power

Go to the track and show me your quarter mile time slip, and I'll tell you if you're actually fast.
