Default Swingarm Paint

I have a polished aluminum factory swingarm. I would like to go to a black painted/powdercoated swingarm. The flat / satin black color looks good, I think. Has anyone done this and had good results? Any suggestions for paint or process?

Take the swingarm off, clean it, scuff it up with some light sandpaper or steel wool or equivalent, pick up some flat black paint and flat clearcoat in a can, spray and enjoy! Or just bring it in and have it powder coated.

I got my swingarm powder coated for 70.00. I loved it so much I'm doing my frame and engine covers as well. I went with a semi flat and it looks great. Johnny

I painted it along with the frame last winter when I did the F4i tail swap.

Haha no way! Did you go to school in Winthrop or what? That's my aunt Myra actually.
