Default I want to paint my frame/swingarm

I want to paint the frame and swingarm on my f3, I would like to get it a matte black, but what suggestions do you guys have as to rattle can paints? Do I have to sand it before I spray it, if so what grit should I use? thanks

I'd suggest taking it to a local powder-coating business & have them do it. You'll be happier w/ the results & it will last longer. A shop near me does individual wheels & items such as swingarms, for $40 ea. Believe me, its worth the saving of a headache to do it this way. Good luck.
