Swingarm & engine paint
Anyone know of a near-perfect match for either the engine or swingarm paint on a '07 600RR?
I've been told that some kind of a BBQ grill paint for the engine should work. Possibly a satin black. For the swingarm, somekind of bumper touchup maybe. I have some minor scrapes i'd like to fix as nice as possible. Figured someone here has experience so I won't have to spend so much money on trial & error matches.Tell me the exact brands and types ifyou know. Thanks.

My vote is to avoid BBQ black. Higher temp but pour finish resistance and scratches easily. The pro-level semi-flat finish out there in a spray can is listed below.

Google listing for more choices on where to find it:

A good local body supply store will likely have it also.
Good luck

I know SEM trim paint is very durable. I used it all the time at the body shop I worked out. I never put it on a motor tho, I think it would hold if I had to guess. Try it on a small part first.
