I checked my bike today and the ignition switch is 12v, so i think i am going to try and make a car starter/alarm work maybe sometime this week

 

see, im skipping the alarm startup (i still have the scorpio alarm) but going to install a fingerprint start-up ignition system, which will WORK great with the perimeter sensor on the scorpio alarm.... still in development mode tho (trying to get it all down on paper and make sure it will work.. im not the best electrican)

but sweetdeal is right, you could get fail-safes on the start up.. but it's alot of headache it seems to me. especially with a car alarm system (which the module is usually bigger and harder to hide on a bike..)

 

the brain module for the starter/alarm system on the Viper is only slightly larger thana PCIII, i can find plenty of room for it. The bike actually has plenty of starting fail safes, that will be utilized (i.e. kickstand switch, neutral safety)
