Default using a front master cylinder as rear hand brake

can you use a front master cylinder as a rear hand brake. Does the resivoir hose work when it normally mounts on top but switched around it would be on the bottom. Does it still get sufficient fluid to the cylinder?

Any radial front master works good (newer gsxr, R1, or a brembo 16x18 are what I like). Bleed thefront master in its regular position then turn it over and put it on as a handbrake, run the res tube up so fluid has to travel down into the master.
