this vid is long and boring..
if i was you i would skip to 15min. mark, and see how my son is trying to make me fail my best wheelie so far.

YouTube - me learning how to wheelie

once the bike goes up my body is going forward, i guess thats natural reaction i have to get past. it seams that its to many things involved at once. clutch up and brake at the same time. too many things to think about at once for now. i keep forgetting about the rear brake. thats one of the reasons i dont want to raise the bike higher yet.
i need to become comfortable with clutch and throttle first. once i get that i will begin the rear brake.

I'm gonna give you a piece of advice: Time to find a parking lot with nobody around

I can't find the post but a while back there was a report of an accident. Guy was practicing stunts and his son ran in front of his bike.

I don't knock stunters like some people do. Actually admire them and their Art (because it is one). But it has to be done safely. And you're crossing the safety line there.

Personally I would rather spend the day in the twisties then trying to wheelie but to each his own. Do me a favor though and put on some gear before all your hard work ends badly. At least a helmet anyway. Good luck and be safe!!!!

i had my wife watching my son the whole time but you are right they are unpredictable. it is time for the parking lot and maybe a new but older bike to do this on.

and for the gear, i wasnt planing doing all that, it was going to be one pass and i will make sure my gear is on next time because i see that this is addicting.

this is why i love this forum, people will put you back on the right track if you loose your way. i was starting to go the wrong way. thanks guys, for reminding me that its a machine and not a toy.
