Default hydraulic clutch=handbrake master?

since stuntlife.com sucks and no one will answer my question, maybe someone on here will know:

can a hydraulic clutch assembly (master cylinder, piston assembly, lever, etc...) could be used as a handbrake?
i'm thinking yes... but i dont want to get it all hooked up and bled, then it not have enough power to squeeze the pads. or lock up the brake with just a light grab

i ran that "ducati style" master for a while. it was decent, but got in the way due to the reservoir being 1pc to the perch. right now im running a 1000 rr master. its nice but im going to be switching to a brembo 16x18 in a month or so. ive heared of plenty of people running clutch masters though. if you can get one for cheap, go for it! but you cant compare a clutch master to the feel and power from a radial mc.

thanks for the reply, sorad. i have a hyrdaulic master off my ole' superhawk (it's in pieces, awaiting new pistons, etc...) so i might throw that on my 9stunt9 in the meantime, since i cant afford the $300 for a brembo 16x18 just yet!
