RE: Gearing Change
everybody always says that vortex sprockets are bad because they are not hardened, but i havent had a problem, man i am telling you that you can get a whole kit from denniskirk for like 150 or something. i think it is more expensive to do it piece by piece, but do what you want. if its a good brand and you like it then go ahead and buy it... later

also 2QK4U2C - stick with a kit if you can. it's alot cheaper to get a chain kit (with sprockets). your better off PMing Baxsom about that Renthal Product - it seems like the front is steel and the back is alu alloy..

RE: Gearing Change
The manager of the bike shop who i talked to (who is also a stunter) said that Rental sprockets are awesome...but that their chains suck. He recommened EK SRX 120 chain. That's why i can't do a kit. He said Renthal sprockets are the way to go b/c they are made from one bock of medal, not stamped like other sprockets, and are therefore superior in quality.

RE: Gearing Change
i would try to find a chain kit instead of doing individual buys.. i mean there is alot of sprockets that are just as good as Renthalwith a nice chain. If he recommended it, you should ask him for a discount or something - usually they will. or ask for another recommendation for a chain kit for your bike.
i mean if you want to flush out the money for the best, go for it.
can't wait to do mine myself - god my 1Krr already has enough torque but muhaha..
