Default if you change you gearing????

if you change you sprockets how the the speedometer ajust to it? how does it compensate since it is driven simply off the counter sprocket bolt. thanks

There is no adjustment. Your speedo will either read faster or slower than what you are really going. Also changing the size of your tire will change your speedo reading as well.
