are u wheeling into the dirt just incase u fall itll soften the landing? Thats jokes, what i would suggest is to get a cage and take it to the lots. as for protection, i dont like wearing too much because it really restricts you, maybe to learn the bp but after that most of the stuff your going to be doing is at slow speeds.

If you can still see where your going your not quite at BP. For me its right when you can barely see over the front of the bike (doing sit downs in first), I'm 6' 2" though. Hope this helps, Cr@cker

What does "Loop it" mean?
That means flip the bike over backwards. "You looped" Like a loop in a roller coaster.

As for finding the balance point. You will feel it when you are there. Just listen to the RPM's. It feels about like you are flipping over and falling backwards. But if you go any further than that without being on the brake and you will flip over.

hey whats up everyone im on the same boat as jon just starting out ive gotten her just about the same height, this isafter riding a year getting used to the bike since im a new rider and all. Now my question is after lots of reading and videos on youtube im currently rolling at about 20/30mphpull the clutch in hit thethrottle and let the clutch out....the jerkiness sucks but im trying to get used to it. couple questions

1.do you ease the clutch out or just pop it?
2. about what revs should i be easing out 10/11, more?
3. im doing this in first should i be doing it in 2nd?, my bike is -1 in front dont know if that means anything to you guys thanks alot.

Stunters hereare a little more helpful then on the stunt sites.

thanks, ya i got a +2 waiting at home that I havent installed yet. and are you serious on the 4, 5 rpm cause ive noticed that its barely comin up at 8/9 is it cause im going faster about 20/25 mph or because the sprocket difference, Or because im a puss and let off the throttle pretty quick thanks guys.

Combination of both, but without the bigger sprocket on there, you're stuck having to launch it a bit faster.

Once you get that +2 on there.. it will feel easier launching it from slower speeds.. (say 10-15mph) and using less revs to do so.

I launch mine from 0-5mph no problem bwapping probably 6k rpm... as soon as it's up, it's stable at i'd guess 15mph at maybe 3-4k rpm. -1/+5 btw.
