Clutched it up for 1st time, need advice though please
So I clutched it up in 1st gear for the first time yesterday but only got the front wheel up about a foot/foot 1/2. I have the technique down, but does anyone have any advice to get higher and maintain confidence..or really is just more about having the ***** to just let her rip..Thank you

Sometime over the next hundred repetitions you'll answer this question for yourself
Not being a smartass here. But everyone (and their bike) is different. Practice will let you find what works for you

I don't know if this holds true for bikes but it certainly was true for me with quads. Don't focus on anything on the bike if at all possible. Try to look out in front of you at something in the distance. I found on quads that if I was focusing anywhere on the vehicle, when it went up I instinctively over-reacted and it came back down hard. When I focus in the distance and let my body feel it rotating up I was able to control the rotation better.
That said I've never gotten the front wheel of my bike up so I'm speaking solely from quad experience.

Damn! Now I want to go ride....(just parked it for the night) I used to catwalk my 06 yz250 all the time but I still haven't had my 97f3 up yet. Not including some 1st gear power wheelies, I've had it for 2 months. It's getting closer, I think it will just take more practice and more *****. (more ***** for me anyways) gl
