Default I finally clutched it up today

Hey guys i just had to tell somebody i clutched my bike up in second today. It was only a few inches but it felt great. Really smooth. I did once and could not do it again after several tries. I think i am gonna go -1 on my sprocket. Just had to tell somebody.

I have a 95 and i can get second gears up pretty easy. I am +4 in the rear though. My buddy has a 98 that is all stock except for a V&H pipe, no sprocket changes and its a little harder to get up but still very possible. Keep trying but take it slow and stay safe.

I had to get the rpms way up for the front to come up, somewhere around 10k to get it up from slipping the clutch. I really dont think these bikes are easy to do second gear. First is easier but kind of scared of the torque that first has.

ive tried in 2nd, even bringing the rpm's up to about 9k and it wont come up. im still working on bringing it up in 1st higher than a couple feet and for a bit longer. i just dont want to burn up the clutch or something by doing this.
