any tips on wheelies
chop the throttle, practice powering it up???? These guys are gonna get you hurt. PERIOD.
Always, put a very small amount of resistence on the back break. If you don't learn it now, you can't benefit from it when you need it. If when trying to clutch it up, the reason your tire is breaking loose is because you are too low in the power band of the next gear up. Bouncing it up, is mostly used for doing stand ups. But, some chose to just clutch it up without the bounce.
All in all, no matter what anyone says, it won't help as much as you practicing in incriments. Keep trying, you'll get there, and relatively quickly if your already riding them out. I will give props to JZHales, he is correct on the balance point. There will be a slight bogging feeling in the throttle and it will feel like the front is floating when you hit bp. It's easier to keep your wrist in one position and work the brake until you get muscle memory in your wrist. Just cover the back break and have fun man.

I think you have broken the record of replying to the oldest post on the forum....17 years
If the OP hasn't learnt by now then I suspect he never will!
Please pop over to the new members area and introduce yourself, what do you ride and for how long?
We also love pics...
