Default 06 Wheelies

just wondering what the easiest way to get the front tire to come up on the 06 F4i is. Me and my buddy have been riding for a while now and were curious how some people can do it so easily, i dont need lectured on how i shouldnt be trying to do it, its more of an informational what not to do if i dont want it to happen. I only weigh 145 and figured it would happen alot easier than it does. Im confident in my riding skill and feel in control at all times on the bike and have driven around in first at 8k and went from 0 throttle to full and it doesnt come up, it gets light but thats pretty much. I have heard people say that it wont do it unless you change the sprockets on the F4i. Any ideas?

Dont try that on hills - one dude 12o'clocked at 5k-6k rpm when trying to start off on a steep hill.
Power wheelies first gear at ~7k and 2nd gear also but I havent tried that (stock)

easiest way is to dump the clutch....in first go about 25mph pull in clutch and release. keep back brake covered though. you can dump it in second as well you are going a little faster so its a little scarier at first. another way is to nail the throttle in first to about 7k and completely let off let thethrottle let the bikerecoil and hit it again.. it will bring it up but i personally refuse to do it that way. just clutch it much safer.

Sorry I don't know the link offhand, but search a little bit and you will find a good tutorial on it, about3-5minutes long. It starts out with a guy on what looks like an airstrip. Good luck and be safe.

Well, I've used a floor jack, but most of the time I just ratchet-straps to hang the front of the bike up... for maintenance, ya see.

oh wait... you probably meant something else, didn't you?
