Default The absolute best setup for wheelies

Sell your crotch rocket and buy a "trials" bike. (Trials riders are those guys who can climb over cars and and vertical walls without touching a foot. ) Sure, the thin looking little bike doesn't have the cool factor of a rocket bike, most chicks have never even seen one, but they are actually made for wheelie ease and don't get damaged when they hit the ground.

If you want to see "stunts," check the World Trials competitions...they can ride over anything on one wheel, either wheel, while eating a sandwich. These guys can even bunny hop a motorcycle.

Or, keep ruining your bike's gearbox for that "Torque," type experience. No need to write a scathing retort, I don't read about stunts so I won't see it. I'm far too busy practicing my half-pipe and dirt jumping skills on Lance Armstrong's last Tour de France bike...just following the lead you guys have set.

JK guys, don't take yourselves too seriously.

I have a pretty big collection of trials videos, motor and pedal powered. They both ROCK!

Yeah, trials bikes are awesome. I found this out after I got my own. Trials bikes can wheelie for days. And it is easy too. It is so easy it should be cheating!I would like to stunt my 954 like I do my trials bike but it is not nearly as easy. Check out these dudes, they are the trials pros! http://www.trialsusgp.com/index.cfm?...TOKEN=77990014

If you want a cheap practice trials bike, look for an old Honda Reflex. It was a '70s trials bike re-package as a dual purpose bike in the eighties. I have one in pieces in my shop. Something dropped into the gearbox on mine and jammed the kickstarter...one of these days I'll split the cases. It's only been broken for eight years. hahah

And yeah, you can bunny hop an F4i. I'm not into wheelies that much (the mechanic in me won't do that repeatedly to a road bike) but jumping is another thing...the little 6 can whip!

I sure wish a moto-cross bike and my F4i would get it on and spawn a demon with 13 inches of suspension, four cylinders and a turbo charged birth mark. Anyone got a 450 motocrosser in heat?

Trial bikes would be a blast...but when it's time to go fast you still need the rotch crocket. The transition from going to a trila bike to a sport bike or vice versa will be a huge change in weight and overall performance.
