Projectors have been fitted. Waiting for them to cool down a bit before I start fitting them to the upper. Got the projectors from theretrofitsource. Got the morimoto matchbox projectors. They are tiny and fit well within the housing. To get the whole kit the work, I would have to do a bit of trimming to the reflector, which I didn't want to do so I ended up makeshifting what they gave me. The quality of the kit is amazing. Enough plugging...

Thanks, but not really. I'm not very mechanically inclined so it's been a lot of trial and error, missing hardware and cursing. Also a lot of musing and careful work to make sure I don't over cut something or under measure something else. Been a great learning experience and I can't wait to finish this and move onto fixing up my F4i stunter.

Update!
Got the SV1000 radiator mounted. Loaded it up with some Engine Ice, let it sit and idle for a cigarette and then took it around the block for a few laps. No leaks, no overheating issues (yet). I've found a 4" SPAL fan I plan on fitting, just need to get it ordered up. On my jaunt around the block I jabbed the brakes a few times and there doesn't seem to be any clearance issues with the radiator and the steering goes lock to lock without any contact. Although I do have the Ohlins 20mm kit in the forks so getting them to compress on the street is a bit difficult.

Taking a small break before I finish cutting apart my front upper. I need to figure out a good way to mount the fuse box. I dunno how waterproof the thing will be when there's no fairing to protect it. I may just tuck it away between the frame/airbox since I still need to have somewhat easy access to it.

And I know it's dirty, but I'll be going over the entire thing with Hondabrite and Honda Polish once I've got it all put together. I'm considering lowering the bike a little bit. It sits quite high.. higher than I remember it, but probably because I've been riding my S1000RR exclusively lately.

The radiator looks good Ray. Radiator conversions used to be quite popular on RCs. Your looks as good as any of the others I've seen.

Had to route through some old speedzilla threads to find ideas of which radiators I should use. Found a useful one that said the SV650 rad worked, but wouldn't fit inside the fairings so I figured the SV1000 would work even better and since I don't have to worry about fitting it inside the plastics I worked from there.

Yeah, the gauges are pretty clear.

I'm considering a dual bucket headlight setup... something from a Speed Triple I think. Either that or making a bracket for the stock lights and mounting them up without the upper fairing. If I decide to go that route, I have to figure out a new way to mount the instrument cluster. I'm not fully pleased with how my current setup looks. I've got a 4" SPAL puller fan incoming this week.
