My ignition is down by my left knee now though. Where was it to start with?

Found this on CL for $20. Gonna give it a shot. A Moose Racing "Species" light that has been cut down. The original version kinda made me think of a triceratops haha but with it cut down it doesn't look you bad. All I could find were decent reviews on the light setup as well.

Anybody know what kinda headlight this is?! Found it in my search for more info on the MR light but can't find anymore info on it.

I'm guessing I'd be real hard pressed to get my hands on one of those headlight setups then?? haha Without breaking the bank?

I picked up that Moose Racing light setup. 2 55w lights with running light. Bright as heck actually. Needs cleaned up, was cut kinda short and crooked.

Here is what it looks like without the top on it.

I'm thinking of cutting that top down as thick as the sides and leaving it across the top. Would look better than the plastic that is on it.

There is a small socket in the top lens for a running light, but I could put a small 194 LED in there for color or anything.

Not only that - the 690 that came to the US with that headlight has only been out since '13. So you'd have to wait until parts become available to find a moderately priced one on ebay. Or buy brand new from an OEM supplier (that would def. break the bank).

But because it's stacked projectors - it sticks out fairly far - so I'd google a few pics from the side profile to see if you like how far it sticks out.

You could always find car headlights. I tried to make an Infiniti light work (it was two projectors when turned on the side - they were stacked), but I ended up breaking it and not liking it.

That light doesn't look too bad. It's all about 3 things. Can it hold up? Do you like it? Can you see at night with it? If it answers those 3 things - you're good to go. And for the price - it sounds like it's worth a try, right?
