quick photoshop of what I may be doing in terms of bellypan and what my r6 tail may look like.


what it looked like once i got the real thing on. I have a stock r6 subframe on the way. will be chopping f3 sub and fabbing some brackets for it.

pulled my carbs. what a pain. they didnt want to come off, even though I knew that THEY knew that they were totally free to come off.

spruced my radiator to make it all pretty again. still needs another really light coat.


started painting brake calipers black. so much cleaner

 

I also took my flat black helmet and decided to go to the total opposite direction, paint it white, and doodle in sharpie on it before clear coating it. (not done)

Hey I had a quick question, what parts did you buy for the 600rr tail?
Seats
Fairing

What kind of latches/bots did you need? I know I have to Fab the brackets between my F3 frame and the fairings but what else is needed?

I am thinking about doing the swap to the 600rr tail on my F3 I just needed to figure out what to buy to make it go a little easier.

 

It's actually an 05 r6 tail. I made it easy on myself, bought the tail seats and a stock r6 subframe. So now all I will have to do to get it on is chop the f3 subframe and weld tabs to mount the r6 sf to and it should look pretty close to a stock piece.
