Default baboex's 97 Bike Build/Clean Up/Mods/Street Fighter build

Just wanted to show everyone where my bike is starting and where it's headed. Mostly pictures, and I would love everyone's input/ideas.

Here's what I started with...1997 Honda CBR 600 F3 with 11,400 miles. The guy who had it before me did a little work, but most of the work was half a$$ed based on the number of zip ties I keep finding. Luckily, he didn't do anything to anything important...

Starting to tear all the fairings off to clean/fix/replace...

Continued tearing down...

Everything off...

New grips, and mirror block offs that I ordered for the wrong bike (whoops)

I bought the same exact bike (colors and all) in non-running condition. Scraped and cracked up to no end. Just cleaned the carbs and took it for a spin this weekend. Rides NICE. I just put all of the plastics back on again. I love the satisfaction of bringing these things back to life!

Put an hour or two into the bike today. It was also the first snow of this winter, which was depressing... Put on the new bar ends, sanded and primed some of the frame, and fixed most of the **** wiring from the guy before me. Pics later.

Smoked flush mounts and tail light, as well as home made all-in-one integrated tail light.

My stripped, then totally redone turn signal wiring (the last guy's electrical work was crap) What you see is wires that are twisted, then soldered, then heat shrank individually, then electrical taped all together.

And my ever growing pile of parts.

Im liking everything.. except those flush mounts.. I hate the big ones.. couldnt you have gotten the smaller ones that fit into the stock holes like the F4/F4i/RR have?

That F3 is really going to be sweet when its done.. looking forward to seeing the reassembly...

Those were the ones that came on the bike. They will work for now, but I probably will be looking into something else.

For now I am concerning myself with my back end. Anyone have any spare tail fairings? I'll pay shipping haha
