Default 90 CBR 600 Question

Hi everyone,

So I recently bought a 1990 cbr600 and have some questions about replacing the headlight and instrumentation. When I bought it, it had a cyclops headlight on it that didn't work, I wired up a new light, but hate how cluttered the guage cluster is and one is cracked.

I was wondering what options, if any, I had to replace all that to clean it up. Sorry, im a total noob to this stuff (first bike)

Thanks in advance

You've got tons of options depending on what you want to spend.

Search: Trailtech and Koso

There are others also. But those seem to be two companies that have a lot to offer, and they are the most popular

I'm not looking to spend a ton, but obviously I want it to work right and look ok. There just seems to be a lot of unneccary crap on the front of the bike lol. I would also help me mount the headlight where I want it.

Is there any way to move the (i think) oil cooler? it goes in between the forks below the headlight sort of.

Thanks again,
I know I will most likely have to teart the whole mike apart soon, but I don't know enough at this point, so baby steps lol

Yeah, you can move the cooler. There's tons of info on where to move it on the net.

cool, thanks a bunch! cant wait to start a legit build thread.

so I looked at the trailtech vapor. seems like what I am looking for. any idea which model I need? Also, do I need to buy the indicator dashboard for it if I want to be able to see my signals being on and more importantly, as i am a new rider, that I am in neutral?
