She then said if you want to spend a little more money($99) is Adobe Premiere Elements. She personally prefers the Adobe but she said it is kind of more advanced and pretty in-depth with the "Adobe" interface but can be used by beginners.
That's what I have... Adobe Premier Elements. It works pretty well. I never even knew it was regarded as decent software. I was visiting my dad one day and he handed it to me on the way out the door. "Here, have some software". lol..

I know this thread is a little old but I found an awesome program to turn 720P 60fps video into 2000fps slo motion.

I use Adobe After Effects CS.5 and Twixtor (Free on Pirate Bay), Just started using it yesterday but the attached video (Not mine) is the same quality I was getting from my Contour 1080P set in the 720P 60fps setting.

That is the software I use when I want to edit videos quick.
