I never said anything was dumb. You are leading into that. How are you getting a 3k rpm varience at 35mph between 3rd and 6th gear? I am not re-geared like you are, so that must have something to do with it. Throttle control will stop you from highsiding when you accelerate. But like I said I am not trying to dig on you or knock anything your saying. To each his own. Happy holidays and save that gas

I used the same type of mount on my CBR at the track., Works decent, but keeps me from getting down on the tank as much as I want..
