without a doubt. I was actually thinking about putting them on a capacitor so they would have a sort of a cheap timer because I really only want them on for a few min after I get off the bike. I just like the "evil" glow it gives off. Plus i think it would add to the new fairings.

the ones from ledglow come with a remote.
Then you don't have to worry about wiring cheap electronic parts.

That means I'd have to remember to shut them off... plus I already bought all of my waterproof led's off ebay. 3ft for $5 shipped.

As far as for the neon lights, I don't like the look of them on bikes at all.

BUT: I do see a need for them, Riding around with them looks squid like, But you do get that added safety at night. Anything you can do to your bike to make it more seen by cars is a + in my book. So even though I don't really like them, I would run them just for the safety reasons alone. Because in the end, making it home safe is all that really matters.

I'm surprised no one said that earlier.

I think the light look stupid most of the time. There are a few that do look tasteful. But the added safety of having them outweighs anything. I use my bike mainly for commuting 100 miles a day all highway. I get cut off or people can't see me all the time so I would put them on just to help with that. I know it won't stop it but anything to help.

I guess that makes me the outcast then I designed my light set up to not be entirely subtle on purpose, because it was my intention to ride with them on all the time (at night anyway). The difference is my lights are all 100% legal colors, and still match the motorcycle. I have a long history with adding LEDs to vehicles, though, so this comes as no surprise to anyone who knows me.

that looks good man, except in MN/ND you cant have any light shining on the ground... not even your tailight. the only color acceptable to be on the ground is orange.... got a ticket for this for having halos/angel eyes on my dodge stealth.

That's dumb. Probably a really specific law to respond to underglow on cars or something along those lines. Disappointing that things like that are taken so seriously.
