They called them "widow makers". Seriously explosive power bands. Very very cool motorcycle

And, the 929 and 954 are also stressed member bikes, although they have a separate mount that attachers to the frame, engine, and swing arm as well, as opposed to some of those bikes where it literally attaches to the engine and that's all.
It's cool, but for instance, one drawback is that with stressed member bikes, you cannot have a rolling chassis unless you have the engine...
