This is a clip of the what the new R1 sounds like.Its new engine has new designed crank which puts the the next orderpiston at 90 deg.It makes it sound like a twin. I If I were blind folded, I would swear that it was a ninja 500....lol. I really dont like the looks of it, and even worse is the sound. I cant imagine what an aftermarket exhaust will sound like....[:'(]

Werd. Also wouldnt trust any pipe sound coming off of youtube. Want to hear it with my own ears.

I would rock a R1 over a 1krr anyday.

 

saw it in person yesterday at a bike show... wasnt impressed. kinda ugly. i did see a sweet honda aquatrac though... ahww to be wealthy.... oo and i saw some cool old school lil 80s you know those bikes the old timers talk about they bought there first bike at a walgreens ahaha they we cool!!

 

The new R1 is high freakin tech. It's gonna rock and roll.

O.K. everyone be honest with yourself. IT SOUNDS LIKE CRAP! Don't get me wrong I like the bike for it's look so far. Alway's have like the R1's every year since I can remember. Only a good sounding aftermaket pipe can save this bike.
