Road Trip in September ?

Whats up riderz, I'm interested in putting my bike on a pick-up truck and heading out for a road trip in early Sept 2009 but didn't know where to go?

Does anybody have any ideas where to go in early Sept?

Any motorcycle events ?

Or just nice places to travel and ride ?

Thanks for any suggestions...

If you can swing late August, MotoGP in Indy. Other than that, take a trip up the West side of MI, there's some amazing stuff to see along the way. One of the best bike routes in the country.
