I heard it was a dry county. I will call monday and comfirm though.

It's the Bible belt down there. The wife and I were headed back north from Atlanta via the two lane scenic route summer before last. We were just about outta daylight and energy and stopped on the south side of the Smoky Mtn. park along 441 I think. No beer or wine on that side of the mountain we were told.

I just called and confirmed that Hunts Lodge is in a DRY county.

Errrrr even if it did Hawk ........ well ****en NO is the answer from my perspective !

It's basically a "Haul Yer Own Hooch" type deal. I'm bringing a trailer !
so we'll be good to go after the day is done riding !

Speaking of no booze... my dad was somewhere over in the middle east and ran into the same thing. Except dry where he was meant "totally illegal".
He grabbed a suitcase and bucket of ice and took a long cab ride....lol....
I tried to explain to him that it wasn't such a good idea to break the law in a strange country, but he didn't seem to care.....
