Yeah, was a good article. I hope Stoner recovers & come backs next 100%. I'm still fuming, Honda passed up on Lorenzo... I guess as we go thru a few more races, the musical chairs (rides) will get filled.

Why would Lorenzo want to ride a slow bike??? Honda "effed-up" when they screwed over Nicky (the incumbent Champion) and developed the bike around Pedrosa. Let them pay for their mistakes and arrogance!!!

I just wanted Lorenzo out of Yamaha to free up a ride for Spies! Of course he can't ride for factory Yamaha 'til his second GP season...

Yeah, Pedrosa can ride really FAST! But whenever he falls he always get hurt and almost never rides at 100% fitness, although they are finally saying he is. I'd want my big $$$ MotoGP star to be a bit more durable...

According to this article on MotorcycleUSA.com Jorge Lorenzo is going to Ducati. That move confuses me from Jorge's perspective because he'll still be the second rider on that team. Plus it seems like nobody other than Casey can ride a Ducati fast. Guess this means Nicky will be looking for a different ride. Hopefully the next one is a better fit for him than the Ducati. I also can't believe that Ducati might release the official announcement before this weekend when Nicky will be racing in front of the home crowd. I seriously hope he gets back to what he's capable of.

Any rider worth his salt will always bet on himself. I say, go Lorenzo, go. Money and fame await. Now he can really take it to Rossi (if he can).

I say bin it or win it (LOL)

Judging from all of the crashes he has had Lorenzo definately seems to be comfortable with the win it or bin it attitude. The thing is though, just like everyone else, whenever he gets into a head to head battle with Rossi he always seems to bend under the pressure. One of Rossi's best advantages is how he just pressures guys until they make a mistake. Lorenzo hasn't really proven that he can overcome that when they're on even machines. I don't know that the Ducati is really the great bike that some people make it out to be. Seeing everyone else struggle on it has given me more respect for Stoner's abilities.

Really I just hate this deal for Nicky more than anything. I hope they wait until after Indy for the official announcement. I'm sure he will find another ride but he deserves more respect than losing his current one the week that he's riding for a home crowd. Hopefully escaping the trouble he's had with the Ducati will turn out for the better in the end.
