Default Spanish GP

So how about that last corner pass for second place in the Spanish GP? Just racing....or totally NASCAR?

I opine the latter....That type of racing belongs on a dirt track. The young Repsol rider had zero chance of pulling that inside 'stuff-move' off unless he DID use the leading rider to bank off of...which he did...

I think the rest of those boys in Moto GP will be doing some talking to the newbie about that type move, if the organizers do not. I think he will either tone it down and race clean, or he'll begin to find himself having more incidents....

I've race in other venues, and behavior like that usually is not tolerated very long by the other competitors.

Fantastic rider, however. Love his riding position during cornering. Elbows dragging across the rumble strips! Wild!

I haven't made my mind up about this. You could say that Marquez was already past, so Lorenzo had no one to blame but himself for leaving the door open, and shouldn't have kept pushing left into him. But after looking at the video a few more times, I still can't decide whether Marquez could have held his line without bouncing off JLo.

Anyway, it seems that there has been more exciting racing in the first three races than there were all of last season. I'm happy that Rossi is relevant again, but wow, ¡Viva Marquez!

To me it looked as if Marquez was way too hot for the corner, which is to be expected on the last turn. He still had his leg sticking out...

There was room there. It didn't look to me that lorenzo tried to block him or anything, probably a little too hot himself. He has a right to be upset...

I don't think Marquez did it on purpose though. He was just trying to make a pass for second at the end.

Just racing?
Dirty bump and run?

Who knows....
But I'm sure Spain is divided.

that's racing...

but it was a dirty move. there's no way marquez could have stopped. i mean, he still almost ran off track after making contact....

before i even clicked the link Freighttrain posted, i was going to reference qatar last year in moto2. marquez is aggressive alright - and as a 20 yr old, you have to expect that.

and if i'm not mistaken, wasn't this a repeat of the EXACT same thing that happened between rossi and gibernau? same track, same corner, last lap. only difference was that it was for p1

Looks like JLo has his own history with that corner. Of course, he was about 10 or 11 at the time:

wow, very good find munson. and my spanish isn't that great, but in the end of the video, doesn't jlo specifically say "im sorry, but that's racing."

hmmm... i wonder why his manager is complaining... that's worse than a politician

i'm still a jlo fan though. and i can tell you, i'd be mad as hell if that happened to me. however, i could totally see myself going for it if i were marquez too. my opinion hasn't changed much (except regarding jlo's (really his manager's) complaining) - that's racing
