Moto GP 2013
Hmm... how much more competitive do you think that the engine leasing from Yamaha and production racers from Honda are going to make the CRT boys? I'm trying to figure how far behind someone using a custom frame with the Yamaha motor is going to be than...say...Tech3? Is it going to be that close? Or is it still going to be similar to this season still? Or is it going to put them behind because they're basically starting from scratch?
These days it seems the ECU is a vital component of being competitive. The factory bikes will be get the stock ECU but be able to make their own software. I don't know if the other bikes will be able to change anything. I think the lease engines etc will make the bikes more competitive in theory but hopefully the electronics aren't a weak spot. So many times you hear about a rider saying his bike is not competitive because of the electronics these days.
FOX bought out Speed & FOX Sports 1 will be like ESPN, Euro Sport & NBC Sports... The only problem I have is it appears they will only televise the race once unlike SPEED Sunday & Tuesday. We'll have to wait & see...
What about Hayden? Where do you think he will wind up?

LCR BABY!!!!
Or at least, that's where I really really really hope he ends up. Damn that would be sweet. I bet those production racers aren't too far off.
What all is exactly different? I know the tranny is different - it's more of a standard transmission than the seamless trannies the Honda's (and now Yamahas) have. But what else? And, how much of an advantage is the extra 3 liters of fuel? I know the extra engines are a huge advantage, but how much do the prototype bikes lose by having to use 3 liters less fuel?
Come on Honda America, pony up some cash for the Kentucky Kid!

Cal is sitting on pole for Brno!
And how about Bautista being the no.1 Honda?? You think it's the Showa?
I'm upset that I won't get to see ANOTHER race... I had my directv set up last night - only for a huge windstorm to come and mess up my dish! And of course, they can't come until Monday.
