Default question about A* boots.....

anyone on here have a pair of A* boots? i wear a size 10 but all i see is a 9.5 and 10.5 in their sizes, not a 10. do their sizes run small? there are no dealers in my area who carry their gear so its hard to just run down the street and try a pair on to see whats comfortable. i wear a size 10 comfortably w/ a slight bit of room for my toes.

so what size would be best, any opinions or anyone have experience w/ the A* boots?

Yes, they do run small. I had a pair of A* SMX and they were tight on my feet. I were a size 10.5 and I should have gone one size up. Even after break in, they were still tight across the bridge of my foot.

I got a pair last night for wet winter riding. I got the web gor-tex boot, water proof, warm, comfortable and decent protection. IMO they run big, I wear a 10 also, but I got a 9.5 and I have plenty of room for a pair of huge thick socks. I immagine just like helmets, there is no standard sizing for feet as everybody's is shaped different. I tried on a pair at the dealer and sat on a few bikes to see how they fit in a riding position, I'm happy with them, but to me, they run big.

well i JUUUUUUST purchased them online. i bought the 10.5 ( i wear a 10) b/c i got the perfurated boots so in the summer my feet can stay cool/dry and in the winter i can just put on another pair of socks.

well F**K, i hope they fit. so far all othe A* gear i buy runs small, so hopefully i'll luck out and the boots will run a bit small and fit perfect!

thanks for the replies, guys!

jaynd,

you wont be unsatisfied. i wear a size 10 in shoes and i tried on a 9.5 and a 10.5. they both fit pretty well to me. the thing i noticed is that the 9.5 hugs your feet and legs more than the 10.5 but that's kinda obvious due to the size. but they're pretty dayam comfy to me. i just purchased a pair of smx-4 boots from my local cycle gear and i would say they kinda fit small to size. but if you're a 10 you'd be fine w/ either or...
